    Johnny Winter dead at 70

Johnny was a huge influence on my guitar playing when I was in high school. You can still hear him in just about everything today's great blues players like Joe Bonamassa do. Met him at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa in '76. One of the nicest guys around.

I?ve got a few OBGs?. https://sites.google.com/site/innadazeskybluela/home http://innadaze.blogspot.com/2009/07/some-of-innadaze-obgs.html ?and before they were discontinued a couple of years ago, the best aftermarket fit PGs for OBG LPs I ever found were the ?Creme ProLine Les Paul...

    ObG?

Not such great shape but from the pics that are posted in the auction I'm pretty sure it's a real OBG. For a cheap enough price the headstock crack's not a deal killer but a neck reset at the body would be. If anyone was considering buying it, be sure and ask about that and get some close-up...

Neck shape of a Les Paul 59R versus Custom models

Thanks Dude. That means a lot to me coming from someone who has a such an obvious appreciation for these outstanding guitars. From what I've seen, you've amassed very impressive collection of high-end OBG's as well!

Neck shape of a Les Paul 59R versus Custom models

Actually, I have a '93 Fujigen 59R OBG, no PG hole and also with the space in the serial number between the 3 and the rest of the numbers... ?and a '92 (not a '94) Fujigen LPC-57B OBG also with the space in the serial number between the 2 and the rest of the numbers? ?the necks on both...

    Rick copy RG43

Well, I know the Greco Rics are very, very good: https://sites.google.com/site/innadazeskybluela/grics http://innadaze.blogspot.com/2009/07/innadaze-greco-rics.html They are extremely well built and sound and play as well or better than the ones made by the company that killed them. The...

Neck shape of a Les Paul 59R versus Custom models

As far as OBGs go, I've got 11 LP59R's (92's-95's, yes they started making them in '92 despite what anyone says) and they all have chunky necks (which I really like) -- some some a little thicker than others. I've got 7 or 8 OBG LPC's and a couple of them have chunkier necks than the...

how to identify the Orville LP?

I'm pretty sure the model designation of the guitar in those pics you posted would be: Orville LPS-75/CS. Like the one in the middle of this page?.

    Orville by Gibson Inlays

I must be extremely lucky. I hear about that but I got my first OBG in 1993 (and a few others since then: http://innadaze.blogspot.com/2009/07/some-of-innadaze-obgs.html) and have never had that problem with a single one.
