Description of item

Thank you for visiting.
The condition of the guitar
is that the neck is straight and the truss rod moves from side to side.
There are almost no dents in the frets, and I think there are more than 80% of them.
The neck is also stable and requires almost no adjustment throughout the year.
There is a crack in the front escutcheon.
The guitar is in very good condition and the sound quality is excellent.
The fingerboard is Jacaranda. I think the sound quality is suitable for a top-of-the-line model.
I think this guitar will continue to rise in price.
Since it was not purchased new, I cannot judge whether it is completely original or not. The parts are the best.
The case in the image is for photography purposes only. If you win the bid, I will purchase a sturdy hard case and ship it to you.
I think if I can sell it at this price, I might be able to let it go.
Since this is an expensive item, you can try it out if you are nearby.
Please make sure you are satisfied with the product before purchasing.
Thank you for your consideration (^o^)

Just to put the crazy 1,500,000 Yen asking price into context, this same guitar sold 4 months ago for only 138,800 Yen. The Japanese are now out doing the North Americans in the greedy vintage MIJ guitar flipping game :giggle:

Indeed the seller got a remarkable deal there…my cup of envy runneth over ; )

And to add further context…when you consider what $7-10K and upwards will get you from Gibson or any number of high-end replica builders, comparable asking prices for the highest-end vintage, or even some modern MIJ’s, don’t seem out of line.

It's a scary price in and of itself, and kind of ridiculous for that particular guitar. I mean, it looks like a factory second or something. I've a hard time believing that the Fujigen QA department would release that for sale as an 1800? Something's not right here.

Any guitar, just as any other item, is worth what any one person is willing to pay for it; period.

Back in the 1980s I frequented the annual GSWGS in Dallas, Texas for several years.

I saw many vintage Fender, Gibson, Gretsch and Martin guitars trade hands for what then seemed like crazy over the top prices. The main bulk of serious buyers were from Japan and these were the brands they were seeking out. I saw plenty of original Gibson 1950s gold tops and bursts change hands for as much as $4K up to $8K and most of us thought this was crazy money. Well, we know where burst prices went and the rest is history .......

1979. Looks like it has dowel tenon neck joint. Probs one of first with Super Real script. Later EGFs had the deep stepped tenon construction.
